Welcome to The Cabin

The Cabin is our flagship Primary and Secondary centre, set on the Ashton Court estate. Access to green space, clean air and working within nature supports physical and mental wellbeing, especially for young people who may not otherwise have access to outdoor settings.

Sessions are designed and led by qualified teachers and SEMH specialists with experience across schools, PRUs and other alternative provision. The curriculum is wide and diverse, balancing positive experiences with academic and vocational qualifications.

Students build resilience and independence through a bespoke programme. Specialised therapeutic interventions, sports coaching and the outdoor setting give students a platform to learn new skills.

Who The Cabin is for

The Cabin works best for children who:

  • Have struggled with the size or pace of mainstream classrooms
  • Are anxious about school and need a calm, predictable environment
  • Have an EHCP, or are being assessed for one
  • Need re-engagement with learning before transition back to mainstream
  • Benefit from small-group teaching and 1:1 support
  • Are working below age-related expectations and need to rebuild basics
