Our Land Based Studies farm under the edge of the Mendips, set in 2.5 acres of a 200-year-old orchard, where students learn and thrive in the outdoors.
Welcome to Orchard Farm
Orchard Farm is a historic orchard nestled under the edge of the Mendips. Learners have access to an amazing green space, fantastic facilities and will be led by a highly trained team that can develop our students' creativity, build practical skills and grow their self-confidence.
The farm setting contains a range of outdoor activities, land based study activities and access to the wider Mendip hills for offsite activities. All of these activities and locations are designed with student development in mind.
Set in 2.5 acres of a 200-year-old orchard, the facility has several indoor and outdoor learning spaces, its own archery range, a forge and an array of animals.
What you'll study
A practical, outdoor curriculum that helps learners grow, with cultivation, land management, animal care and other hands-on skills.
